University of Texas, San Antonio. Mary El-Beheri German Heritage Essay Award. Middle and high school students, grades 8th-12th grade are invited to compete and show off their German language skills and cultural understanding at the annual Sprachfest, one of three regional German contests of the Texas State German Contests, Inc.
Texas State University, San Marcos. Mary El-Beheri German Heritage Essay Award. Middle and high school students, grades 8th-12th grade, who have qualified at one of three regional contests, are invited to compete and show off their German language skills and cultural understanding at the annual Texas State German Contest.
Mary El-Beheri German Heritage Essay Award. You are invited to take part in the 40th annual Winterfest. Every high school German program is invited and we invite eighth graders to enter all Level I contests at Winterfest and to compete at the State contest. The Steering Committee for Winterfest contest meets annually to evaluate recommendations for changes that affect both the regional and the state level contests.

Sunday, July 19, 2015. Some of you may remember my photos of the Montague County ghost town of Belcherville. I finally had a chance to take a friend of mine on a ghost town expedition through Cooke County and Montague County over the weekend after returning to college in January, and since Belcherville was the first Texas ghost town I ever discovered, I had to put it on our itinerary.
